#TGWL – Let’s Do IT

What’s that you say…well Mike Rigsby does a good job of explaining that here over on his blog here. But I am thinking that this is a good way to keep me on track and lose the last 26lbs. I need to drop to get under 200. That might not sound like much, but it is a HUGE deal to me. About 3 months ago I woke up and looked in the mirror and was not very happy with myself. I decided I really wanted to be more active and involved especially since the kids are into playing sports now. I want to the be the dad that can coach and keep up with a bunch of 9-10 year olds. So here’s to losing the last 26!
Man, every ounce counts – I just realized that I’m the largest guy in the mix and I’m not really sure what to make of that. I totally feel you on that mirror moment. As a father of four I want to have the energy and ability to stay around for them as long as I can – at nearly a size 50 I realized if I didn’t get in gear that wouldn’t be the case. Just the first few days and just knowing people are here to help encourage has kept me connected to my goal.
