Working for Dell TechCenter I do a lot of editing and creating at home.  Well it turns out when you have Photoshop, after effects, Sony Vegas, Camtasia, Illustrator, Outlook, TweetDeck, and a couple other programs running at the same time…the 12gb of memory that you have gets bogged down pretty quickly.

So I decided to take the plunge and upgrade my Aliennware to 24Gb.

I was thinking it would still be a little sluggish, but I was wrong. Even with all those programs running there is no delay in doing anything else on the PC. Next on the list is to upgrade the video cards from the GTX 240 to the GTX 690…maybe. Now I just need to start using this thing for gaming….the way it was intended to be used !
